About Vlad

I grew up in Bucharest, Romania and when I was young I went to a swimming teacher that made me fear water. A few years have passed and my parents decided to try again now with a different teacher. This time it worked! I liked it a lot and I learned the basics of swimming and not long before that I advanced to a professional team which introduced me to competitive swimming.

To learn swimming you need to have courage, to have the power to exceed your limits and of course, a good teacher.

Coaching Style

Duo to my past career as a professional swimmer, my strategy consists in motivating people to become better. To improve not just in swimming but everywhere in their life. I like to show them that they have more power than they imagine.

Certifications

Certificate for Swimming Instructor
Bachelor’s Degree in Swimming from the University in Romania.
I have over 200 National and International medals won in Competitions all around the globe.
First Aid Certificate from The Romanian National Red Cross Society
KNZB Rescue Skill Certificate – 2022 and 2023

Specialities

I enjoy training adults that already know the basics of swimming and want more.  I like to improve their technique, endurance and speed by challenging and motivating them along the way.

“Don’t be afraid to make waves; that’s how you move forward.”
