Stroke Introduction

The second level after completing the first phase ‘Water Introduction’

In shallow water pools, swimmers continue work towards proficiency in the basic strokes; front crawl (‘freestyle’) and breastroke.

Stroke Introduction

This second phase is about getting familiarized with  the remaining two basic strokes. Earlier swimmers learned to swim back crawl and elementary backstroke while  in Stroke Introduction lessons swimmers will become acquainted with breaststroke and frontcrawl.

As soon as this is all achieved , swimmers will repeat all four strokes for a couple of lessons in order to be strong enough to get promoted to the deep water pool.

Each lesson will be evaluated at individual level

Right after each lesson, our swimmers find their progress back online. Thier personal coach leaves them a summery and supportive text as well.

Even while swimming in a small group, you will be coached on your individual level so you wont hold back the rest of the group and neither hold back by the group. If you are ready to move to the nextl level, the coach will promote you. We do not like to waste your time.

Stroke Introduction

During this phase swimmers also practize other important skills like going underwater and move forward.  While the body is in a horizontal position, the swimmer moves forwards by kicking legs or breaststroke while using stretched arms as well. The final test is swim underneath a floating mat.

At last swimmers learn how to water treat , a very important skill.  The body is in vertical position, the head is above water and the swimmer is looking forward. This is still all in a shallow pool.
