Profile:

I love water. Swimming for fun, for competition and for safety! For many years I swam and competed at a national and international level, before moving to Wales where I became intrigued by lifeguarding and water safety. Here I trained to become a RNLI certified lifeguard, worked during the summer season and enjoyed it so much that I returned to instruct swimming and other lifeguarding skills in the offseason. Since moving to Utrecht in 2015 I have swum mainly for leisure both outdoor and indoor, and really look forward to sharing my love for water.

My love for water also extends to my academic interests!I am a marine scientist.

Coaching Style:

I explain, I show and you do. I  like to understand what one struggles with and help them overcome that. I enjoy sharing my own experiences and ways to love the water. We can become very comfortable in water, and there are many ways to get there! Most importantly is to relax, do the basics well and Time in the Water (TiW).
