About Courtney

Ever since I can remember I have always loved being in the water. I started swimming when I was very young, and this has been a passion ever since. During high school I was part of our high school swimming team, but swimming for me was always about enjoyment rather than competition.

I feel very safe and happy in the water, and I think this is something that everyone should be able to experience. I hope to be a coach that can help anyone enrich their lives through swimming.

Coaching Style

I really believe in creating a space where people can push their boundaries while still feeling safe in the water. As a swimming coach I really want to transfer my love for the water, and help people understand why swimming is such a great sport. I believe in honesty, and in trying to find an individual approach to elevating everybody’s current swimming level.

Specialities

I really enjoy helping people take their first steps towards becoming confident swimmers.

Personally, I think there is something magical in seeing people come over their fears and starting to enjoy the movements bit by bit, feeling like they work with and not against the water.

Nonetheless, I enjoy teaching everyone whether they are still swimming with a floatie or flying in the water already!

“Water can be your happy place too!”
