As every Dutch kid I learned to swim when I was young. However my passion for swimming grew when I started doing triathlons 15 years ago. Swimming is hard, as every new sport you try is. But you don’t have to go fast, as long as you get there.

In daily life I teach physical education to young adults in a secondary school. Besides that I love to spend time with my family and/or drink a cappuccino. 

Coaching Style:

I spend an appropriate amount of time with every swimmer and make sure every swimmer receives the right feedback. You’ll know what is sufficient and also what to do to improve a certain skill. 

Swimming Certifications, Achievements, and Recognitions:

  • Fontys Sporthogeschool, MSc. Human Movement Sciences, postgraduate Applied Sport Psychology (VSPN® NL). 
  • My best aquatic achievement is finishing a half distance triathlon (a.o. 1.8km swim).


With a background in Sport psychology and mental performance coaching, I thrive best working with swimmers who are anxious. I love seeing them grow and slowly getting comfortable in the water.

Our Adult Swim Classes

Your Personal Swim Coach will help you become a more confident you, a stronger, fitter and healthier you, a happier, care-free you and ensure your success in learning to enjoy and feel safe in and around water!


If you cannot swim at all and are fearful and/or challenged in water generally.

If you have taken   classes before and   failed, join our beginners groups and we teach you how to float first.

Stroke Improvers

If you can float and swim but are afraid of deep water.

You can swim but are complete exhausted after swimming 1 lane.

You can join the intermediate or A group and enjoy our support with the first moves in the deep water.


If you have no issues in the deep water and able to swim two laps without getting  exhausted.

you can join the diploma groups or sportclass, come weekly or book individual lessons. Objective is working on stamina and improving techniques.
