Meet Jessica

Training experience: 10 years

I grew up in Hungary where there is very little water, but swimming is part of the primary education curriculum, so I was lucky enough to learn how to swim from the age of 5-6.

I’ve been teaching swimming since 2013 at Marnix, Amsterdam. From 2015 I started to teach on a freelance basis in Spain for expat children & adults. In 2018 I moved to Uganda, East Africa where I launched various swim projects which are still active.

Next to teaching swimming I am also a part time gymnastics teacher at a Primary School I’m Rotterdam.

Coaching Style:

My coaching style is simple: I like to explain the importance of water to my swim students and how beneficial it is to master water survival skills.

Breathing is key during swimming and I like to put my focus on first learning to be confident with the breathing proces before making meters in the pool.

My lessons have a clear build – up method with always a positive approach. The students have the space to feel confident enough to ask me questions & learn on their own pace.
