Profile:

I started swimming as a toddler living next to the beach in Boston! Throughout my childhood I loved the water, and grew up swimming competitively in the US since I was 9 years old. I started coaching when I was 16, and managed a swim team for two years as well. I love swimming and teaching others how to enjoy being in the water. Swimming in my view is not only a necessary life skill to have, but also one which can bring together a community and people of all ages.

Outside of coaching I am a Master’s student at UvA studying International Law.

Coaching Style:

My Coaching style is centered around creating a positive and supportive learning environment that caters to individual needs and fosters a love for swimming. I believe in a personalized approach, recognizing that every learner is unique and progresses at their own pace.

Swimming Certifications, Achievements, and Recognitions:

I was certified in water safety and lifeguarding in the US in 2017.

In competitive swimming, I was able to help my team win the state championships from years 2016-2020.

3rd place for the 100yd backstroke in the MA State Championships.

Specialties:

Backstroke in my specialty, but I can teach the full range of strokes! Throughout my coaching career, I have found success in working with a diverse range of students, tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. My specialties include stroke refinement and overcoming swim fears/ building confidence.

Navigating the waters together, I specialize in transforming fears into confident strokes, one lesson at a time
