Often newcomers  book  private or private elite sessions first  and move over to the group groups after all. This is a great way to get it started.  These sessions are ideal for those who are facing severe aquaphobia or fear of water.  The sessions are not about your speed or stroke; instead, it is about de-stressing, taking some time out to provide some relaxation for your mind, body, and soul. Whether you are new to swimming or returning to the pool, and not ready yet to join a group, these sessions are for you.

 

Traumatic events

Traumatic events can be defined as experiences that put either a person or someone close to them at risk of serious harm or death.  Our team of swim coaches have worked with several adults who had to  face horrible events in the water.  They lost a loved one, witnessed a drowning or almost lost their own life in the water. In these cases, being in the water can bring back that horrible feeling of fear and panic. The best way to get started is to work one-on-one without any peer pressure, spectators or childeren running around.

 

 

 

 

 

How to get started

Simply book a try out lesson and leave a note in which you request these sessions first. One of our office members shall call you to book the sessions with you. During the swim sessions you always got your personal swim coach on your side. Most of the time he or she is the one who is guiding the small groups as well, hence a perfect guide along the journey.

Where is this possible

Private and Private Elite sessions are offered in The Hague, Scheveningen, Amsterdam North, Diemen and Utrecht on request. The sessions go in package of 4 , which has proven to be enough to offer you a kick start and let you continue the rest of the journey in one of our small groups.

 

Your preference matters

Let us know if this got your preference and we make it happen. But please do realize that you are not the only adult who cannot swim so in can be very much encouraging to join a small group over the 1:1.

Beginners class

If you can’t swim yet and are fearful and/or challenged.

Also if you have taken classes before and failed, this class is guaranteed to bring you success!

Stroke improvers class

If you can swim but have fear of deep water.

Survival skills will enable you to spend hours in the water without getting exhausted.
