Profile:
I am a certified swim coach with a background as a competitive swimmer and have been
connected to swimming since the age of four. What started as simply learning to swim, very soon
turned into a deep passion and dedication to intensive training— twice a day, 6 days a week — while
regularly competing at regional and national levels.
With over a decade of competitive swimming
experience in Poland and a swim coach certification, I have worked with both children and adults,
providing lessons in Poland and Iceland. I have conducted lessons in both English and Polish, offering
individual and group sessions.
I have experience working with individuals who struggle with a fear of water. In 2022, I completed a
coaching training at the ICF level to become a better teacher and guide. To further develop my
coaching skills, I’m currently a practitioner in training at The Institute for Dreaming and Imagery®.
Outside the swimming pool, I spend my free time creating and enjoying art. In 2024, I published a
book titled Micropractices, available at Boekie Woekie bookstore in Amsterdam. It is a collection of
small daily tasks designed to help nurture one’s connection with oneself, others, and nature.
Coaching style:
My years of competitive experience, combined with my creative artistic background, provide me with knowledge and expertise that I integrate into my work as a swimming instructor. My approach focuses on building confidence in the water, refining technique, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning experience. Safety, a calm and understanding approach are for me the key elements in supporting students in becoming confident in the water.
Swimming Certifications, Achievements, & Recognitions:
- 2018 – Swim Coach Certification (Poland)
Specialties:
My speciality is working at the Water Introduction Level and Stroke Introduction. I love helping swimmers build confidence and develop a strong foundation in the water.
