Profile:
Ι was born and grew up in Greece in a seaside town, so swimming and water were always a big part in my life. I participated in competitions as an athlete from a young age until a little after my adolescence. Swimming was something that interested me from the beginning and I want to learn more about it. After I completed my university in Greece in Sports Science and Physical Education and my master degree in sport organization Management in Spain, I worked as certified swim instructor for 4 years for both children and adults.
Ι truly believe that everyone needs to know how to swim and get benefit from it. I really enjoy to make everyone feel comfortable into the water or even practice something more advance.
Coaching style:
I like to talk a lot and explain everything so that by the end of the lesson my swimmers don’t have any questions and in the meantime to swim more comfortably and calmly. Step by step I build their confidence and teach them new skills or improved their technique and by the end of every practice to feel more safe and supported in the water.
Swimming Certifications, Achievements, & Recognitions:
- KNZB Rescue Skills 2022 and 2023
Specialties:
I enjoy teaching people of all abilities and make them believe in themselves, promote their capability and comfort through practice. Depending on which aspect the swimmer wants to improve, I enjoy teaching the basics skills for someone that is not able swim yet alone, as well as teach something more advanced like stroke techniques.
“Your journey starts with a splash; the rest is a beautiful swim.”
