Profile:
I’ve been in the water pretty much since I could walk—if there was a pool, I was in it. That love for swimming turned into years of competitive swimming, which taught me how to work hard, stay focused, and survive ridiculously early morning practices. I think the best way to learn swimming is to start small, have fun, and be consistent—it’s an amazing skill that builds confidence, keeps you fit, and opens up a whole world of water adventures.
I’m doing a teaching degree at Hogeschool Utrecht.
Coaching style:
I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where learners feel confident to try, make mistakes, and improve. My strategy focuses on adapting to individual needs and making the process fun and engaging. I aim to inspire people by celebrating progress, no matter how small, and showing them how far they’ve come. My goal is to help others enjoy the journey of learning, not just the end results.
Swimming Certifications, Achievements, & Recognitions:
Competed at a national level in swimming for several years. Represented my team in international competitions, gaining valuable experience abroad.
