Profile:
I started swimming from an early age, which led to competitive training. Over time, I became interested not just in swimming itself, but in how it works — the mechanics, the feel, and the principles behind movement in water. I remember my coaches explaining different techniques, and that curiosity has stayed with me. My background is in Liberal Arts and Science, and I enjoy looking at things from different angles. I like bringing that flexible way of thinking into my coaching.
Coaching style:
My coaching style is creative and responsive. I focus on helping swimmers feel more at ease in the water by adjusting to each person’s pace and learning style. I’m patient, and I believe in taking things step by step.
I enjoy breaking things down in a way that makes swimming feel more natural and manageable. I try to create a calm and supportive space where learning can be both focused and enjoyable.
Specialties:
I’m comfortable working on refining swimming technique and enjoy helping swimmers develop a better feel for the water. I especially like working on stroke efficiency and balance. I’m motivated to keep learning and growing as a coach, and I’m keen to build my skills to support swimmers at all levels.
