I grew up in London, studying at a French school and swam competitively at squad level, in Ealing Swimming Club until I was 16. I continued to swim a few times a week and started lifeguarding for my club. Then I switched to teaching after having attained several teaching levels. My goal was to to share the sport I have loved since I was a child. After moving to Amsterdam for my studies, I now continue to teach for Your Personal Swim Coach.

I am a second year student focusing on economics as well as art history and an enthusiastic dog mum!

Coaching Style:

My teaching depends on my students. I am adaptable and enjoy working on water confidence, technique and endurance, making sure I go at the swimmers’ pace. My goal is to implement correct technique through fun and interesting activities. I believe this method helps my students remember key points, and allows them to exercise their muscle memory. I like to inspire my students by encouraging them to try new things within their levels of comfort.

Currently I have mainly taught Water Intro and Stroke Intro, focusing on breathing and long strokes in breaststroke and front crawl. I have also given a few lessons to intermediates, consolidating acquired stroke techniques and introducing my swimmers to endurance.

If you can swim it, you can make it!”
